Deadly Injection is an Active Physical Skill that allows Scarlett to combine her Moonblade with her Necromantic Power, injecting a toxic venom into an enemy. The enemy she strikes is poisoned. While the venom lasts, the enemy suffers repeated damage to Health each second, until the full damage potential is inflicted (or the enemy dies.)
Deadly Injection has three Level of Mastery, each increasing the total damage to the enemy's Health and the duration over which the damage is inflicted, at the cost of slightly more Mental Energy.
Level of Mastery |
Total Damage |
Duration of Poison |
Mental Energy Cost |
Casting Time |
Cooldown Time |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 112 | 6 sec | 10 ME | 0 sec | 2.5 sec |
2 | 160 | 7 sec | 13 ME | 0 sec | 2.5 sec |
3 | 297 | 10 sec | 16 ME | 0 sec | 2.5 sec |
Even an enemy that has been fatally poisoned can still attack Scarlett until the accumulated damage kills, so it is prident to avoid such enemies while the spell continues working.
Deadly Injection is an Active Skill. It needs to be placed on the QuickBar so it can be used. Using the configured key or button combines the skill with a swing of the Moonblade (just like a normal attack). If no enemy is in range or the blow is Blocked, then the attack fails and the Mental Energy is wasted. This Physical Skill can only be used while Scarlett is wielding her Moonblade.
Scarlett can learn this Physical Skill (or increase her Level of Mastery) from any of several of the Physical Skill Teachers she meets: Rangar, Ulrik, Abd el Malik and Akbah.
Scarlett can only learn this Physical Skill after she has learned at least one Level of Mastery in its prerequisite, Twilight Rift, and has accumulated sufficient Skill Points.
